CAFFEINE BAD FOR RETINAL

CAFFEINE BAD FOR THOSE WITH RETINAL PROBLEMS

A male who is 25 years old and was diagnosed with degenerative retina in both EYES. He underwent laser therapy which helped, but he requires thick lenses to see clearly. His work demands a lot of his EYES.

There are many supplements that are very beneficial in helping to promote healthy EYES. It is also important to exclude certain food groups from the diet. These are foods containing caffeine, such as coffee, tea and cola drinks as they actually decrease the blood flow to the retina.

Supplementing with fish oil and antioxidant ACE formula containing beta carotene, vitamin C and vitamin E, and the herb bilberry (blueberries), is extremely beneficial for good EYE sight and should be of help to him.
